Liquid wastes and wastes PDF Print E-mail

This is the section where specific techniques are used to determine the pollution contained in each sample (in addition to the determination of classic pollution parameters such as the DQO or the DBO5, more specific tests like the toxicity tests with Photobacterium phosphoreum are done).

It is also the section where the sludge samples for agricultural re-use are performed, quantifying the contents of determined elements and calculating values of agronomic interest.

Here the whole management of very diverse environmental problems is undertaken, including a wide scope and offering specific services for every step of the cycle.

  • Physical-chemical study and characterization of liquid and solid matrixes (waste waters, industrial sludges and liquid wastes, soils).
  • Classification and desclassification of wastes (accredited testing).
  • Technical advising on purification treatments, process control and improvement, risk evaluation of agricultural practices,….
  • Impact studies in environmental subjects.
  • Advising on administrative management of liquid wastes and wastes (sanitation taxes, liquid waste authorisation).
  • Planning and fulfilment of sampling schedules (accredited by ENAC).
  • Infrared performance of hydrocarbons, oils and greases.
  • Total and free cyanide by flow injection analyse.
  • Phenols performance.
