For the challenges that are coming up in actual markets and with ever-increasing clients’ requirements, the management of LABAQUA,S.A. knows that the quality directed to meet the clients’ expectation is a basic element that guarantees the companies’ success.
The aim of this management is to obtain a product and a quality service. To achieve this, we introduced a quality system that concerns all the companies’ areas.

Our management supports the quality system totally and put into practice a permanent monitoring of the policy and the quality aim, committing the necessary resources to accomplish a good management. Our management delegates to one person in charge of the quality guarantee the authority and the necessary functions to develop systematic activities, such as planning or quality related operations and evaluations.

LABAQUAs’ management assumes that the quality is a concept that is planned, systemised and built permanently and continuously and it must be the responsibility of the staff to have as a dairy aim the continuous improvement. It also requires the promise to fulfil all the quality system requisites and to provide the adequate means to achieve the quality aims.

To evaluate the advances in quality subjects our management defines every year, together with the general aims of the company, the quality aims for each area of the company.

One of these aims is the relationship with accreditation bodies, and specially with The Spanish National Accreditation Body (ENAC), in ways that the technical competence of the laboratory is recognized by accreditation for the performance of the testing and inspection activities. It is also recognized by certification bodies, so that our clients have guarantees to satisfy their necessities.

Our quality system is based on the following standards:

  • EN ISO/IEC 17025 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”
  • EN ISO 9001:2000 “Quality management systems – Requirements”
  • UNE 66543-1 “Proficiency testing by interlaboratory comparison, PART 1: Developing and operation of proficiency testing schemes”
  • EN ISO/IEC 17020 “General criteria for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection”
